About me
After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2000 I landed a job on weekly commercial property magazine Estates Gazette, largely on the basis of an interview with Countdown host Richard Whiteley I’d done for the student newspaper.
I subsequently relocated to Manchester and was appointed North & Scotland editor in 2007. I decided to leave EG in summer 2009 to do a one-year MA in documentary filmmaking at the University of Salford.
I have a wide range of interests including design, film, electronic music and football and I’ve written for my own blogs since 2006.
