My first PR

I’ve had, for the first time, an e-mail from a PR promoting a magazine. She says that since I am a “keen online commentator in the media arena” (pffffft!), I may be interested in the decidedly pretentious sounding publication she is promoting,

which includes a photo feature on “The new heirlooms”, shot by Mary McCartney and styled by Katharina Flohr of Tatler

as well as

a striking photo essay on China’s coal mines.

As she’s so keen for me to write about it, I’m guessing she hasn’t read my review of Sony Magazine.

I could reveal the name of the magazine being so heavily PR’d that I am considered a worthy new media outlet - and perhaps provide a link to it. But that would be, like, selling out to the Man. So I won’t.
