I don't think, reading over Dave's entry, that he was suggesting that Didi was literally serving Special Brew to the Wellspring visitors.

Speaking as an erstwhile mischievous sub, the prospect of the deliberate double entendre does not seem completely unlikely.

Hello,

Yes i do feel you are reading much too much into this headline, as the Manager of The Wellspring in Stockport (the project where Mr Hamann very kindly gave his time to support) I can assure you that we have a zero tolerance to Alcohol in the project. We provide a way out for people who are addicted to Alcohol.

I think they used the headline (by the way miss quoted by yourself but i would expect nothing more from a journalist! ) Hamanns Special Brew as the picture of Didi clearly shows him making cups of tea.

More information about The Wellspring and the work that takes place can be found at www.thewellspring.co.uk

Thanks

Jonathan Billings
Project Manager
